Domestic yearly travel impacts are classified by county and include the following : travel expenditures, direct travel generated payroll, travel generated employment, travel generated state tax, travel generated local tax, 1993 – present. The Travel Industry Association of America (TIA) provides the economic impact estimates for Illinois; please contact TIA for further information regarding the model used for these estimates.
